LABRADORITE (FELDSPAR)

Fine labradorite's phenomenal colors are caused by interference of light reflecting off the stones layered structure. This shimmer is called after the gem itself: labradorescence. Labradorite is relatively unknown, but plentiful. Cabochons can be used for any kind of jewelry, as connoisseurs already know.
